5" Gyrogami Ornament 1 kinetic metal sculpture

One of the few ornaments with no moving parts, it consists of ten layers with eight sides on each layer. The breaks are in the same location on each layer - all in a line - so it appears the piece is a fractal image of itself in each successive layer. The bending positions can be changed easily for a different effect. It has the standard modified 32-sided star-shaped framework. Ornament 2, Ornament 3, and Ornament 4 have an identical structure with the breaks in different positions.

Designed to be hung in any position. It works best with a string hanger to allow the ornament to twist and rotate freely.
