Cuprum Primordialis - Copper Collection

In Latin, the name roughly translates into "copper essence." Much of my copper is sourced from existing materials. Finished jewelry items are fully handmade according to the law. Copper is traditionally thought to alleviate joint conditions and balance energy. It is one of the most powerful anti-viral and anti-microbial natural materials and considered a "living" metal as it will change color throughout its life. Some people react strongly to it so it may not be suitable for everyone.

These get funky fast! Careful placement of folds and bends creates unlimited possibilities. Whether a geometric and predictable pattern or totally random, rest assured that any creation will have one-of-a-kind written all over it. I make all sizes and widths.

Metal origami

Origami designs are considered intellectual property. That means I need permission from each creator to use their designs for commercial purposes. It's a delicate situation and none will be giving it away for free. Getting a design from paper to metal is quite involved. I may invest hundreds of hours into a project that doesn't bear fruit.

Kinetic and other ornaments

The kinetic versions are my own creation. Crafted from a single piece of silver sheet, there may be up to five moving elements within the 5" design! Static ones mimic designs found elsewhere. Small versions can be made into jewelry whereas large designs can be installations in their own right.
